Submission Guidelines

• A headline; complete byline; brief bigraphic statement, including current affiliations; and author photos.
• A statement of relevant disclosures.
• Any figures, graphs, or photographic images, alon with titles and captions/legends, that you wish to run with your article. Hi-resolution image files (300dpi at final print size) are required.
• A full list of citations in AMA citation format. Examples areavailable here.

Please reference any statements, data, or other information that is not widely accepted. However, it is not necessary to extensively reference information that is widely accepted.

Please user superscripted endnotes for referencing.

You need not include an abstract or list of keywords.

Typical feature article length is 2,200-2,800 words. Columns typically are 1,500 words. Article length is flexible.

Note that our editorial style differs from that of traditional research journals and is not as formal. It is acceptable to use the first person voice.

Authors should expect their submissions to be edited for content, clarity and style.

All revisions will be submitted to the author for final approval final to publication.

• Acceptable file formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, VCD, MPG
• Maximum file size: 4GB
• Minimum resolution: 480x360 for 4:3, 720x405 16:9
• We require all videos to have an English audio track.
